Dry Mortar Plant

Dry mortar plant, also known as dry mortar production line, dry mixer mortar plant, is a set of automatic production equipment specifically designed for the construction, building materials and other industries to produce various dry powder mortar building materials. It can fully and evenly mix dry aggregates or powders, cement, various sands, additives and other raw materials to make dry powder like substances, and store them in bags.

When used on site, simply adding water according to the specified ratio, it can be directly used as building materials.

The dry mortar plant is widely used for material mixing operations in mining, building materials, chemical and other fields, especially in the construction industry for the mixing production of putty powder, tile adhesive, gypsum mortar, dry mortar and other materials. There are various types of finished products that can be used as different bonding materials for various building bonding occasions, such as masonry mortar, plastering mortar, floor mortar, tile bonding mortar, jointing mortar, insulation mortar, waterproof mortar, decorative mortar, colored mortar, self leveling mortar, etc.

Composition Of Dry Mortar Plant

The dry mortar equipment is mainly divided into 8 parts.

Classification of Dry Powder Plant

Common dry mortar plant can be divided into four categories.

Simple Dry Mortar Plant

Simple dry mortar plant (1-6t/h), semi-automatic, manual feeding, no drying, no weighing, no silo, with packaging machine

Small tower dry mortar plant (≤10t/h), semi-automatic or fully automatic, no drying, can be equipped with silos, weighing, and packaging machine.

The simple dry mortar production line uses a two-layer frame structure, equipped with a dual axis gravity free mixer, finished product warehouse, packaging machine, and pulse dust collector. The equipment covers an area of about 20m3 and has a height of 6.5m. The production line has an annual output of 3-5 tons, which is suitable for customers with limited plant height and initial investment.

Medium Dry Mortar Plant

Medium-sized Mortar Plant (10-20t/h), fully automatic, with or without drying, with silos, weighing, and packaging machines.

The medium-sized dry mortar plant uses a three-layer frame structure consisting of a mixing bin, a dual axis gravity free mixer, a finished product bin, and a packaging machine. It is equipped with a pulse dust collector and occupies an area of about 30m3 with a height of 8.5m. The investment of this production line is moderate and the effect is fast. It can be upgraded to a fully automatic dry mortar plant in the future.

Working Principle of Dry Mortar Plant

The main working principle of the dry mortar plant is very simple. In summary, it is to mix and stir dry aggregates, sand materials, powders, additives and other raw materials in a certain proportion to produce dry powder products, which can be bagged or directly transported by vehicles to construction sites for use. The specific steps are roughly as follows.

  1. The raw materials enter the production line through the feeding port, with a large proportion of raw materials such as cement entering the pre-mixing bin through the elevator, and a small proportion of valuable raw materials such as cellulose and rubber powder being weighed by an electronic scale and put into the additive hopper.
  2. After the raw materials are preliminarily mixed in the pre mixing bin, they enter the mixer for further mixing. A pair of relatively rotating main shafts inside the mixer drive the blades to rotate, throwing the material towards the spatial layer at a certain angle. The particles experience instantaneous weight loss in the spatial flow layer, and centrifugal force and gravity cancel each other out, mixing into each other’s areas and forming a fluidized weight loss zone in the middle layer, quickly achieving the goal of uniform mixing.
  3. The mixed finished products are quickly placed in the finished product storage bin for buffering and storage through pneumatic quick opening doors. The dry mortar in the finished product silo is fed into the packaging machine through a flexible connection for measurement and packaging.
