How Does the HZS50 Hopper Concrete Mixing Plant Work?

The primary production operation of the HZS50 Hopper Concrete Batch Plant are as follows: feeding of material, measurement of materials, concrete mixing, and overall plant control.

1. Set Up the Control System Using the Manual Panel.

Input concrete production working parameters such as recipe value, concrete grade, volume, slump, and so on.

2. Begin the Controlling Method.

Signals for production are sent to all the plant components via the  PLY controller

3. Feeding Supplies

Individual types of aggregate are transported into batching bins. The loading follows the following procedures: fly ash and cement are loaded into the fly ash and cement silos, respectively, while additives and water are stored additive and water tank respectively.

4. Measurement of Materials

  • Aggregates are released into weighing hoppers for measurement using accurate weighing sensors and a control computer.
  • Screw conveyors transport cement and fly ash from storage silos to cement and fly ash weighing bins.
  • Water and additive are piped to a separate weighing bin from the water tank and the additive barrel.

5. Materials Mixing

Measured aggregates are transported to the mixer via hopper hoist, together with fly ash, water, weighed cement, and additive. They are uniformly mixed in the compartment using the powerful JS1000 mixing machine.

Finally, effectively measured concrete manufacturing is completed.

When difficulties develop during production, the controller detects the problems and sends an alarm to alert the operator. The operator can then halt the operation until the issues are resolved.

Electric motors, load cells, and butterfly valves will operate automatically in response to the controller’s material feeding signal.

Every charge or discharge gate, including aggregate bin gates, concrete mixer discharge gate, and butterfly valves of scale hopper, among others, will be powered by a high-pressure air system.

The controller will continue to operate the entire system until the predetermined volume is reached. However, based on the feedback value, the program will make appropriate adjustments to achieve a consistent and accurate concrete proportion as per the buyer’s requests
