Components of the Mobile Ready Mix Concrete Plant

The mobile ready mix concrete plant consists of mixer, aggregate conveying system, batching machine, weighing system, gas path system, cement silo, screw conveyor and controlling system.

Mixer: The mobile ready mix concrete plant generally adopts twin-shaft mixer, in some cases, single shaft and drum mixers can be also used.

Batching Machine: The mobile ready mix concrete plant is usually fitted with the hopper elevator, the batching machine is generally cumulative metering. The batching machine generally has three or four storage silos, and the batching is carried out by means of intermediate discharge.

The cement weighing system consists of a cement weighing tank, a sensor, a cylinder and a butterfly valve. In the weighing state, the piston rod of the cylinder is tensioned and the butterfly valve is closed. During unloading, the piston rod of the cylinder extends to push the connecting rod on the butterfly valve and the internal baffle of the butterfly valve.

The water weighing system consists of a water weighing tank, three tension sensors, a pneumatic butterfly valve water pump and a water pipe channel, water supply of water tank is completed by submersible pump, generally equipped with 3KW.

The additive weighing system is composed of an additive weighing tank, a tension sensor, a pneumatic butterfly valve, an additive pump, and a water pipeline. The additive is supplied by an additive pump, which is generally equipped with 2.2kW. The weighing principle is the same as that of water weighing, except that the unloading is weighed by water.

Gas Path System: Most of the mechanisms in the concrete mixing station are driven by air pressure, which has the characteristics of low cost and no pollution. It is composed of compressor, FRL Unit (Filter, Relief Valve and Lubricator), air tank, air cylinder / pneumatic butterfly valve and air pipe.

Controlling System: The electric control system generally has full-automatic and semi-automatic types. The full-automatic control system includes strong and weak current cabinets. At present, the control system used is mainly from Shandong bosuo.

Screw Conveyor: Screw machines are widely used in various industries, such as building materials, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, coal mine carbon, grain and other industries.It’s suitable for horizontal or inclined conveying of powdery and small pieces of materials, such as coal, ash, slag, cement, grain, etc. the material temperature is required to be less than 200 ℃. The screw machine is not suitable for conveying perishable, viscous and caking materials. In the concrete mixing plant, the role of screw conveyor is most reflected.

Cement Silo: The cement bin is generally used for the storage of bulk cement in the concrete mixing plant. The bulk cement bin is a closed tank for storing bulk materials. It is suitable for storing various dry small particle materials or powder materials such as grain, cement, fly ash and other bulk materials. It can be used with the screw conveyor to transport the materials to various positions.

Generally speaking, the concrete plant with an output of 50 cubic meters or below per hour is equipped with 50t and 100t cement silos. Cement silos of 100t, 200t or larger shall be provided for production of over 50m3. However, the configuration of the cement silo is flexible and can be matched according to the needs of customers.

How does A Mobile Ready Mix Concrete Plant Work

After the accumulative weighing batching machine completes batching, the small belt on the weighing bucket conveys the aggregate to the lifting hopper. The lifting hopper is lifted up with the rail under the traction of the steel wire rope. After reaching the upper part of the mixer, the unloading door is opened and the aggregate enters the mixing mixer. The cement in the cement bin enters the cement weighing hopper through the screw conveyor. After weighing, it is unloaded into the mixer. After weighing, the additive enters the water tank. After mixing, the water and the additive are transported (sprayed) to the mixer through the pressure pump.
